Dear Family and Friends,

October is Down Syndrome Awareness month also Alejandro' s Birthday. On Saturday October 21, 2006, we will join hundreds of others at Lake Eola for the 9th annual Buddy Walk to help raise money and awareness for Down Syndrome. You can help us by becoming a part of "Alejandro's Posse". Join us as we walk around Lake Eola. We are grateful to our families, friends, doctors, teachers and the Down Syndrome Association. Alejandro has reached so many goals and astounds us with his ability to communicate and learn like the rest of the children in his class. We look forward to many dreams, goals and aspirations that are yet to be reached.

• Favorite Food: Cookie Monster Cookies
• Favorite outside activity: Running away from mommy and daddy and taking walks in his red wagon
• Favorite educational activity: Reading books (especially animal and lift up tab books)
• Favorite TV shows: The Wiggles, Little Einsteins, Sesame Street­
• Favorite animals: Horses, Whales, Sharks and Lions
• You can find Alejandro playing his harmonica or the piano on any given day.
• Communicates using sign language and three word phrases
• Currently attends UCP for class and therapies
• Goals: Resume with swimming lessons, Start a sport, Continue Piano lessons, Start horseback riding lessons, and Start sensory therapy.

where we need your support. Please consider donating to the Down Syndrome Association on behalf of Alejandro instead of a Birthday present.
